Boylston sees August transfers slow to a trickle as most sale prices await registry update

Boylston recorded 17 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but only three carry a sale price in registry data so far, ranging from $200,000 to $250,000 with a median of $250,000. The top recorded sale was 379 Cross St. at $250,000 on Aug. 26, tied by 86 Linden St., also at $250,000, on Aug. 25. Several of the period's unpriced transfers involve banks, mortgage servicers or family trusts rather than open-market buyers and sellers, including four properties moved into trust by the same grantor. With most prices still pending, the data does not yet support a read on overall market tone this period.
